Lakeland Welcomes the Following New Physicians

Lakeland HealthCare is pleased to welcome two new Dermatologists, Clarence William Brown, MD and Vassilios (Bill) Dimitropoulos, MD to our medical staff. Drs. Brown and Dimitropoulos are opening a practice in St Joseph, in addition, to continuing to practice at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. 

Dr. Brown is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine. He completed his Dermatology residency in 1999 at Rush-Presbyterian-St Luke's Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Baptist Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri - completed in 2000. Dr. Brown is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Rush University, as well as, the Director of Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery. Dr Brown is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. 

Dr. Dimitropoulos received his medical degree from Rush University. He completed his Dermatology residency in 2005 at the University of Michigan, where he also studied in the University of Michigan Multidisciplinary Melanoma Clinic. Dr. Dimitropoulos followed his residency with a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Rush University - completed in 2006. He is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Rush University and is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Michael J. Diggs has joined Sunset Coast Anesthesia.  Dr. Diggs completed his Medical Degree at Medical College of Wisconsin in 2005.  He followed his degree with an Anesthesiology Residency at Loyola University Medical Center in 2009. 

Dr. Inga Sriubiene, Sleep Medicine Specialist will be joining us August 3, 2009.  She completed a Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in June 2009.  Dr. Sriubiene completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Michigan State's KCMS program in June 2008.  She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board eligible through the American Board of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Shannon (Keith) Twiddy, Family Medicine, is joining Southwestern Medical Clinic in Niles.  Dr. Twiddy received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine followed by a Family Practice residency at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina in 1998.
