Prior to living in southwest Michigan, Dr. Conklin worked at the Rockwood OB/GYN Center in Spokane, Washington. Her medical interests include contraceptive management, family planning, minimally-invasive surgery, and natural childbirth.

Dr. Conklin earned her medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

Prior to living in southwest Michigan, Dr. Wood worked at the Rockwood OB/GYN Center in Spokane, Washington. His medical interests include contraceptive management, general obstetrics and gynecology, minimally-invasive laparoscopy, and robot-assisted surgeries with the da Vinci® robotic surgical system.

Dr. Wood earned his Doctoral degree in Osteopathic Medicine at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

Dr. Wood is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Osteopathic Association.


Miguel Bermeo, MD Obstetrician & Gynecologist

Prior to living in southwest Michigan, Dr. Bermeo worked at the Rockwood OB/GYN Center in Spokane, Washington, where he specialized in minimally-invasive gynecological surgery and high-risk obstetrics.

Dr. Bermeo earned his medical degree at the Universidad Central del Ecuador in Quito. After graduation, he served as Chief Director at the Primary Care Center of Zuleta in Imbabura, Ecuador. Dr. Bermeo completed a research fellowship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University in Indianapolis.

Dr. Bermeo is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparascopists, American Medical Association, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. He is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Carlson has always enjoyed the full spectrum of Family Practice, with a special interest in Women’s Health. At BellaNova Women’s Health, she is providing well-women exams, breast cancer risk counseling, pap smears, and other routine gynecological and general medicine services. Dr. Carlson is board-certified in Family Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She is also a graduate of Indiana University South Bend, and the University of Illinois.

Mary Beth Good, PA, is a certified Physician Assistant. Physician Assistants are healthcare professionals who are trained and licensed to practice medicine. She has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of New Mexico and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan. She completed the Physician Assistant program at the University of North Dakota. Mary Beth is providing a variety of well-women services with an emphasis on contraception counseling and management, breast cancer risk assessments, treatment of perimenopausal symptoms, bone health, breast health, depression, and menstrual irregularities.

Tracy Anderson, CNM

Tracy has over 20 years of educational, research and clinical experience in Obstetrics and Women's Health. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees in Nursing from the University of Michigan; and received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree and Nursing Educator Certification from John Hopkins University.

Tracy is also a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) and a Lactation Consultant.

Prior to joining Lakeland, Tracy practiced at Women First Health Services in Jackson, Michigan and also served as the Obstetrics Specialty Lead Faculty at the University of Michigan School of Nursing.


Bobbi Brown, CNM, WHNP-BC, MS

Bobbi Brown, CNM, received her Master’s degree in midwifery from University of Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio. Bobbi most recently has worked at InterCare, providing OBGYN services to the underserved, uninsured of St. Joseph and Benton Harbor.


Melissa Holderread, Certified Nurse Midwife

Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the College of Nursing at Valparaiso University in Indiana. She went on to receive her Master of Science degree in Nursing, with an emphasis in Midwifery, from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky.

Prior to joining Lakeland, Melissa spent 4 years working as a Registered Nurse Associate Partner in Labor and Delivery at Indiana University Health. During this time, she assisted with bereavement services, triage, and labor and birth care. Melissa is committed to providing women and their families with exemplary care including serving as an advocate for their healthcare needs.

In-office treatments such as microdermabrasion and chemical peels are customized for each patient. Almond uses medical-grade products that contain a higher percentage of active ingredients to help you achieve better and faster skincare results. Medical-grade products can only be sold by licensed professionals.
