Local doctors in our area are conducting research studies for a variety of conditions. Participants may be eligible for free or low-cost medical care during the study as well as access to medications not yet available to the public.
Southwestern Medical Clinic is currently seeking participants for the following
study topics:
Allergic Rhinitis Dust Mite (age 12 and over)
Moderate Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (40 years and over)
Type 2 Diabetes (age 18 and over)
Asthma in children (age four to 11) and adolescents to adults (age 12 and over)
Cytomegalovirus (CMV) to study the incidence of infection (females age 10 to 17)
Diabetes/Acute Coronary Syndrome (age 18 and over)
Infant formula (infants zero to 16 days)
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (age 18 and over)
Measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine (infants 12 to 15 months)
Meningitis B vaccine (age 10 to 12)
Non-valvular atrial fibrillation (newly diagnosed, age 18 and over)
