Physician Researchers Seeking Study Participants
Local doctors in our area are conducting research studies for a variety of conditions. Participants may be eligible for free or low-cost medical care during the study as well as access to medications not yet available to the public.

Southwestern Medical Clinic is currently seeking participants for the following study topics:
  • Allergic Rhinitis Dust Mite (age 12 and over)
  • Moderate Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (40 years and over)
  • Type 2 Diabetes (age 18 and over)
  • Asthma in children (age four to 11) and adolescents to adults (age 12 and over)
  • Cytomegalovirus (CMV) to study the incidence of infection (females age 10 to 17)
  • Diabetes/Acute Coronary Syndrome (age 18 and over)
  • Infant formula (infants zero to 16 days)
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (age 18 and over)
  • Measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine (infants 12 to 15 months)
  • Meningitis B vaccine (age 10 to 12)
  • Non-valvular atrial fibrillation (newly diagnosed, age 18 and over)
