(South Haven, Michigan) – The Annual Hospice at Home Holiday Homes Tour is on Sunday, December 2, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. All proceeds are used by Hospice at Home, a Lakeland HealthCare Affiliate, to provide hospice services to individuals coping with a serious illness and provide relief for their families.
“This will be the 25th year that this event has been held in the South Haven community. It’s a holiday tradition,” said Stephanie Timmer, Hospice at Home volunteer and Chairperson for this year’s Holiday Homes Tour. “Hospice at Home has provided care in our community for over 30 years. The funds from this event make a difference in the lives of our neighbors, friends, and families.”
Tickets are $15 per person and may be purchased in advance in South Haven at Hospice at Home, the South Haven Visitor’s Bureau, MacDonald Drug Store, Wolverine Hardware; in Bangor at Swanstra Drug Store; online at www.hospiceathomecares.org; or by phone at (269) 637-3825. Tickets are also available at the homes, on the day of the tour ONLY, for $20 per person.

Hansen: 533 Quaker Street, Apartment 204

During the tour visitors are invited to enjoy refreshments with Whiteford Tax & Financial Services, Ltd. Started by Kevin and Mary Whiteford 15 years ago in Frankfort, Illinois, the company provides tax and financial consulting for individuals and businesses with an emphasis on wealth management services. In 2008 Kevin and Mary built a home in South Haven and soon decided to relocate their business to the area as well. They opened their current location on Broadway in 2010, which appropriately resembles a lighthouse on the lake. Kevin and Mary take pride in serving their community and love sharing their lighthouse-themed building with guests.
