Housewarming Registries Established for New Merlin and Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center
(STEVENSVILLE) – Registries for furniture, housewares, games, and comfort items are now available for community members interested in purchasing gifts for the new Merlin and Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center. The hospice residence is currently under construction at the Hanson Care Park, located on Cleveland Avenue just south of Glenlord Road.
A registry at Schroeder Furniture (1335 Hilltop Road, St. Joseph) includes furniture selected especially for the hospice residence. Other items needed for patients and their families may be purchased or viewed at www.myregistry.com by searching for Hanson Hospice Center. Some registry items may be purchased directly at the Benton Harbor Target and Pier 1 stores.
Melinda Graham, Chief Operating Officer of Hospice at Home, said, “These items will help to make the house a home. Anything purchased from these registries will be used and appreciated by the patients and family members for whom we will provide care. We want the hospice residence to feel like a home away from home.” For more information about the registries, contact Julie Griffin at (269) 429-7100 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
