Community Open House Planned for New Merlin and Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center - Archived
(STEVENSVILLE) – Community members are invited to tour the new Merlin and Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center on Thursday, October 3, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The facility is in the Hanson Care Park, located at 4382 Cleveland Avenue in Stevensville, just south of Glenlord Road.
About the Merlin and Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center
Thanks to the generous support of our community, the Merlin and Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center is now a reality. The residence is the first of its kind in Berrien County. Currently, patients and families needing hospice care in a specialized hospice setting must relocate to Holland, Kalamazoo, or South Bend.
The residence is a special place where caregivers provide compassionate and comprehensive hospice residence services to our community’s friends, families, and neighbors who need a place to go to make the most of the precious time they have.
The dedicated care will meet the needs of people:
who do not have a caregiver
whose caregivers are too frail themselves
who do not want to die at home
who have specialized needs and care requirements
