Lakeland
Specialty Hospital takes a holistic approach to meeting the special needs of our
wound care patients. Our individualized programs combine continuous high-quality
nursing care, interdisciplinary rehabilitation, continuous nutritional
assessment, and state-of-the-art technologies and treatments. The plan of care
for many of these patients involves the primary wound treatment, as well as
treatment of secondary problems, including generalized weakness, infections or
nutritional problems. We provide care of the highest quality within a delivery
system designed for optimum patient care, recovery and safety.
Lakeland Specialty Hospital Cardiopulmonary Care
Program
At Lakeland Specialty Hospital, we believe that an
appropriate respiratory care exercise program can be an effective addition to a
patient’s rehabilitation process. Our patients are evaluated by the care team in
order to tailor the rehabilitation care plan to meet their specific needs and to
assure the best overall rehabilitation outcomes.
The purpose of the Cardiopulmonary Care Program is to:
- Promote the safe and effective use or cardiopulmonary treatments and interventions;
- Provide educational support to staff, patients and families;
- Work with the other members of the healthcare team to enable the patient to receive the highest quality care.
