(ST. JOSEPH) – Several new appointments have been announced at Lakeland HealthCare.
Cali Gregory, of St. Joseph, was named Manager of Performance Support and Central Staffing for Lakeland HealthCare. Cali brings over 17 years of experience in quality management, operations improvement, change management compliance, risk management, and medical staff services. She joined Lakeland in 2010 in market development for Lakeland HomeCare. Prior to that position, she served as director of quality and operations improvement at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Cali earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The Ohio State University and a Master of Hospital and Healthcare Administration degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Jeff Grossman, of St. Joseph, has assumed the role of Senior Physician Practice Consultant for Lakeland Medical Practices. He is also the current manager of Lakeland Cancer Specialists, a position he has held for four years. In his new role, Jeff will also oversee Lakeland Rheumatology. In addition, Jeff will complete special projects throughout Lakeland’s medical practices which encompass 16 locations, including Bridgman, Coloma, Niles, St. Joseph, and Stevensville. Jeff’s past experience includes working as an Embedded and Implementation Engineer at Electronic Data Systems and as an account manager for an electronic medical records company. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University.
Todd Haney, RN, of White Pigeon, was named Manager of the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department at Lakeland Community Hospital, Niles. He most recently served as Patient Care Supervisor at the hospital. Todd received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Goshen College.
Lindsay Iwan, of Decatur, was named Manager of Lakeland Medical Practices in Niles. She oversees the day-to-day operations of Lakeland Ear, Nose and Throat; Lakeland Family Care of Niles; Lakeland Family Medicine; and Lakeland General Surgery. Lindsay was previously assistant manager at Metro Health in Grand Rapids.
Lindsay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids. She received a Master of Business Administration degree in Health Administration from Saint Xavier University in Chicago.
Julian Lewiecki, of South Bend, recently joined Lakeland as Director of the Lakeland Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, located at Lakeland Specialty Hospital, Berrien Center. Julian most recently served as assistant director for the Pulmonary Division at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Julian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Indiana University South Bend. He also holds a Master of Science Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame.
Sara Simonds, RN, BS, of Allegan, has been named Manager of Consulting Services at Lakeland HomeCare Solutions. In her new role, Sara provides operational, regulatory, business, and clinical consulting services to 14 affiliated home health and hospice agencies in Michigan and Indiana. Sara previously served as Consultant for Lakeland HomeCare Solutions for 10 years. Previous to joining
Lakeland, she was manager for the Homecare Department at Allegan Homecare, a department of Allegan General Hospital. Sara held additional positions in her nine-year career at Allegan General Hospital, including registered nurse, house supervisor, discharge planner, and utilization reviewer.
Sara earned a diploma in nursing from the Bronson School of Nursing in Kalamazoo. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies from Western Michigan University. Sara holds a certificate as an OASIS Specialist-Clinical through the OASIS Certificate and Competency Board, Inc. She is also a member of the Michigan Home Health Association and the National Association for Home Care and Hospice.
Edward Ziesmer, MSPT, of New Buffalo, has been named Manager of Lakeland Rehabilitation Services, Health Park, in St. Joseph. Edward joined Lakeland in 2003 and has 11 years of experience in industrial and adult neuro-clinical physical therapy. Edward previously served as Rehabilitation Department Manager at Royalton Manor in St. Joseph. Prior to that position, he was self-employed for five years working onsite with injured employees in factories in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan.
Edward holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anatomy and Physiology and a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Andrews University. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
