Collection Instructions

• Collected by lumbar, ventricular or cisternal puncture into sterile plastic tube
• Tube numbers should correspond to order in which they are filled, i.e. first tube filled - #1
Immediately deliver to testing laboratory
• Last tube collected is used for cell count

Transportation Instructions

• Do not centrifuge
• Refrigerate tube for cell count
