Collection Instructions

• Prep venipuncture site with non-alcohol prepping agent (i.e. – Betadine)
• Routine venipuncture
• Fill collection tube to vacuum capacity to minimize evaporation of volatiles
• After collection, gently invert tubes 8 – 10 times
• Do NOT remove tube stopper
• Do NOT centrifuge
• Do NOT remove serum or plasma from cells
