Providing Support When You Need it

Caring Circle provides support groups for caregivers and those looking for grief healing and bereavement care. These classes connect you with others who understand what you’re going through. All support groups are provided free of charge and are providing by Caring Circle services. 

Caregiving Support 

Caring For Your Loved OneSuport_Groups
This support group provides individuals who are caring for a loved one the opportunity to talk with others who are experiencing the same joys and challenges that caregivers face. 

Every third Tuesday of the month 
1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Memory Care/Dementia Support Group
This support group provides individuals who are caring for a loved one with Dementia or memory loss the opportunity to talk with others in similar situations. 

Every first Wednesday of the month
1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Bereavement/Grief Healing Groups 

Shadow Steppers
All who are traveling through their grief journey are invited to take part in the healing process facilitated by a Caring Circle bereavement coordinator. These classes meet for once a month for a hour and thirty minutes.

Hope and Healing
This group is meets once a month and is open to any adult who is grieving a loss, whether newly bereaved or further along in the grief journey.

4th Tuesday of every month
4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Memory Stones
This special event will give participants the opportunity to create a garden memory stone in honor of their loved ones.  All the supplies needed to create the garden memory stone will be provided.  Participants are also encouraged to bring their own items to decorate the memory stone.  Items such as: glass stones, marbles, mosaic tiles, scrabble letters, and anything that can withstand the outdoor elements.  The first meeting will be focused on creating the garden memory stone.  The second meeting will give participants the opportunity to share about their garden memory stone. Space is limited to 12 participants, RSVP is required.  Please contact Jaime Hoover at (269)429-7100 to register and for any additional questions.

Good Grief
“Good Grief” covers topics such as why you feel the way you do; how to cope with loss, guilt and regret; and finding a sense of peace.  Each seven-week session meets for one hour and thirty minutes of meaningful information and sharing.
