Camp Lifetimes

Any child from kindergarten through 5th grade, who has experienced the death of someone significant in their life is invited to attend camp, even if they have not used our services before. It is our hope that each child will leave camp with new friends who understand and know their story, along with the encouragement to continue to work through their grief.

The goal for Camp Lifetimes 2024 is to help participants build confidence, trust, and communication, by providing them with an equine assisted grief bonding experience. Camp will start and end at Lory’s Place, also spending time at Forest Meadow Ranch in Berrien Springs. Campers will work on wrangling their grief, while grooming, caring for and learning about horses. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Giddy-up!

Thanks to the generous support of individuals and our community, registration to Camp Lifetimes continues to be offered to all participants without cost. If you know someone who might benefit from our camp experience, please encourage them to attend.
