Edie is an LMSW and master's level social worker. She received her BSW and MSW degrees from Andrews University, with an educational emphasis in individual, marriage and family therapy. She has clinical experience as a school therapist, a counselor and advocate for women at the local domestic violence shelter and has worked with residents of a nearby nursing home.
In addition to working at our clinic, Edie also works for an agency that provides court-ordered therapy for probationary children and their families in our county. She serves as a mentor and facilitator for a weekly girl's support group in Benton Harbor.
Her counseling experience includes working with adults, teens and children who are experiencing depression, anxiety, loss, self-mutilation and difficulty with relationships and communication.
Edie has a strong interest in the challenges experienced with marriage, divorce, grief, depression, child and parent issues, Adult Children of Alcoholics, domestic violence and managing stress.
