Julie Elliott Named Manager of Volunteers

(ST. JOSEPH) – Lakeland Health recently named Julie Elliott as Manager of Volunteer Services. In this role, Julie will oversee the Lakeland volunteer program at Lakeland Hospital, Niles; Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph; the Center for Outpatient Services, St. Joseph; and Pine Ridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Stevensville. Her responsibilities will include managing the gift shops and information desks at the St. Joseph and Niles facilities, as well as the Courtyard Café and Java City at the St. Joseph hospital. Lakeland has more than 600 volunteers who dedicated more than 74,000 hours of service to patients, residents, staff, and visitors throughout the health system last year.

Julie has been part of the Lakeland organization for 15 years. Most recently, she served as Supervisor of the Courtyard Café and Java City at Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph. Julie earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.

A native of southwest Michigan, Julie lives in Baroda with her family. She serves as President of the Greater Berrien Springs Recreation Department, is active in the Civic League of Berrien Springs, volunteers as a softball coach, and enjoys helping her children with their Berrien County Youth Fair projects.
