Infusion Services

The Lakeland HealthCare Ambulatory Infusion Center provides a broad range of outpatient infusion services, including:

  • Antibiotic administration
  • Blood administration
  • Chemotherapy
  • Platelet transfusions
  • Therapeutic phlebotomies

What to Expect During Your Stay

Our infusion clinics are designed to provide you with a warm, healing environment where you will be cared for by compassionate and highly skilled professionals.

You will be offered a comfortable reclining chair or a bed depending on your personal needs.

Each chair or bed area has a personal television and room for a family member or friend to accompany you. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the treatment area.

Drinks, cookies, crackers, and cheese are available. You may also store any food items that you bring with you for the day of your visit in our refrigerator.

Patient safety is our priority. A physician is available at all times in case of emergencies.

Your Infusion Clinic Care Team Includes

  • Monoclonal antibody infusions for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, and Crohn’s disease

Home Infusion Services

Lakeland Home Infusion Services provides professional home I.V. therapy to the tri-county area. We are committed to our common aim of care and compassion for all people who live in our communities.

An extension of Lakeland Regional Health System, Lakeland Home Infusion Services is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the nation’s most respected and stringent reviewer of health care.

Experienced Staff

Our offices are staffed by registered nurses and pharmacists who use state-of-the-art equipment and treatment to provide the best in therapeutic care. Our staff serves as a critical link between the patient and his or her physician.

Services provided by the team include:

  • Pharmacists and nurses dedicated solely to I.V. therapy
  • Clinical drug monitoring and pharmacokinetic dosing
  • Ongoing progress reports
  • Home delivery of all medications, supplies and equipment
  • Integration of all home health care related services
  • 24-hour clinician availability

Home Infusion Services provides high-quality, individualized care to patients of all ages receiving home I.V. services. We provide cost-effective care to patients in the comfort of their homes. All I.V.  therapies are administered under the supervision of specialized nurses and pharmacists, dedicated exclusively to the Home Infusion team. Specialized therapies include:
