The Lakeland Physician Services department is responsible for the recruitment and retention of physicians who provide high quality health care services to the people of southwestern Michigan. The Physician Services department:
- Recruits physicians and mid-level providers
- Works diligently in the retention of physicians to southwest Michigan and Lakeland HealthCare
- Conducts new provider hospital orientation
- Communicates information to the medical staff regarding Lakeland HealthCare's services and programs
- Introduces members of our medical staff to administration
- Communicates information about new physicians and mid-level providers
- Conducts hospital or facility tours
- Coordinates physician events and other networking opportunities

Stephanie has been a Lakeland HealthCare since 2007 and joined the Physician Services team in November 2011. She holds both a Bachelor's of Science degree and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Ferris State University. Physician Recruiter/Liaison Team
Lakeland HealthCare is fortunate to have a team of physician recruiters/liaisons who are committed to providing excellent service to our medical staff. The team is comprised of D. Kirk Nelson, Kellie Poe and Stephanie McNeil. The Physician Recruiter/Liaison team is responsible for the recruitment of qualified staff and sourcing candidates. Their recruitment activities contribute to achieving the annual physician staffing goals. In addition to their recruitment responsibilities, this team serves as liaisons between members of our medical staff and Lakeland HealthCare. They conduct new provider orientations, introduce members of our medical staff and provide hospital tours. The Physician Recruiters/Liaisons also serve an important role in promoting the services of Lakeland and offering issue resolution for our medical staff.
