Manager of Volunteer Services Elected President of MHVRP

On Friday, September 15, Julie Elliott, Manager of Volunteer Services, was announced as the President of the Michigan Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals (MHVRP) state board of directors. Julie will serve as President of the MHVRP board for the 2017-2018 year.  She has been a member of MHVRP for
16 years and has previously served on the board as Education Co-Chair, Education Chair and President-Elect.

MHVRP is a non-profit corporation with the purpose of promoting the professional development of its membership and advancing the quality of volunteer services management in the healthcare institutions in the state of Michigan.

MHVRP has a reputation as an assertive, professional and progressive council with strong leadership, dedicated board members and involved, caring members who represent the total healthcare volunteer community. MHVRP also works closely with the Michigan Health & Hospital Association to develop robust volunteer programs and lifelong healthcare volunteers. For more information, visit
