1. My Plate 101
This class will help you understand the importance of proper nutrition. Learn how to read labels and avoid portion distortion. Walk away with tips for making a great plate and eating better on a budget. Preregistration is required by calling (269) 556-2808 or (866) 260-7544.
2. Fitness to the Core
Regular physical activity performed on most days of the week reduces the risk of developing or dying from some of the leading causes of illness in the United States. This class explores the different elements of fitness and its benefits on an individual's overall health. Practical ways to incorporate daily fitness and forming an individualized fitness plan will be discussed. Preregistration is required by calling (269) 556-2808 or (866) 260-7544
3. Fitness and Lifestyle Improvement Plan (FLIP)
This eight week program teaches nutrition, exercise and behavioral changes. FLIP is a proven way to reduce body fat, increase self-esteem, and make positive lifestyle changes. Cost is $250 and includes all pre-program assessments, unlimited use of the fitness facility, and weekly education classes. Call (269) 556-7171 for more information.

5. Lose Weight…Find Health
Michael Schuknecht, DO, Medical Director of Bariatric Services at Lakeland will discuss options for losing weight and local resources. Call (269) 687-4673 or (877) 467-3858 for more information.
6. Weight Loss Support Group
The Lakeland Comprehensive Weight Loss Center offers a free support group for individuals who have undergone weight loss surgery or medical weight loss. The program is open to former patients of the weight loss center as well as those who have had surgery at other facilities. Call (269) 687-4673 for more information.
