Lakeland Health is a not-for-profit community health system nationally recognized for delivering an exceptional patient experience.  Our mission is to provide superior health and medical services to meet patients’ needs in the state and the region, and to conduct programs of research in human health and disease.

Integral to our mission is to provide quality, structured postgraduate residency programs that foster residents’ professional and personal development, while assuring high quality patient care. Lakeland Heath is also a base hospital for Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and an educational affiliate of Central Michigan University College of Medicine.
