Kristen Jones, LMSW

EAP Manager & Counselor

Kristen Jones is a Licensed Masters Social Worker who has counseled individuals and families in numerous settings for over 15 years, including health care, palliative care & hospice, geriatrics, child welfare, domestic violence and community advocacy. She has supported many facing depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, marital distress, loneliness, stress and burnout. Kristen has a passion for providing hope through life’s difficult situations.

Kristen completed her Bachelors in Social Work from Andrews University in 2003 and Masters in Social Work from University of Maryland in 2005. Kristen enjoys traveling abroad with her husband, entertaining friends at her house and volunteering at her church.

Bob Ziebart

Robert (Bob) Ziebart, LMSW

EAP Counselor

Bob holds a Master’s Social Work Clinical License with years of experience in many settings, including crisis intervention, child welfare, behavioral health, and health care.  He accepts people for who they are and where they are in life.  He listens and shows compassion while working with clients to help them find their best solution.

Bob graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Services, and Western Michigan University with a Master’s of Social Work. Bob enjoys dinners with family and friends, playing guitar, working outdoors, and training his crazy, adorable dog.

Josie DeJong, LPC

EAP Counselor

Josie DeJong is a Licensed Professional Counselor and School Counselor, working in Berrien County for over 15 years. She specializes in assisting teens and adults with anxiety, ADHD, depression, and life transitions.  Josie believes in working as a team, the strength of people, and the power of positive thinking.   

She obtained her Master's Degree in Counseling Education Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, soaking up the sun, reading, and playing with her fur babies.

Jan Johnson

Administrative Assistant

Jan is the first friendly face you see when you walk into our EAP office.  She has 20+ years of experience in counseling office settings, the last 17 of which have been with EAP at Lakeland.  Her experience being the first person clients interact with combined with her calm and supportive nature reassures everyone that this is the right place for support.  The EAP team relies heavily on her administrative talents, and thinks of her as the “glue” that holds everything together.
