Investing in Loved Ones
When care at home is no longer the best option or a person would benefit from a medical team around-the-clock, the Hanson Hospice Center can meet those needs. While the hospice benefit covers the same services that Hospice at Home clients receive, the daily room and board fee is not covered by Medicare or most health plans.
Your gift will be used to provide room and board for those in need at the Merlin and Carolyn Hanson Hospice Center. Your generosity helps to provide dignity and comfort to hundreds of people in our community. Because of you, we are able to go above and beyond standard hospice care and provide extra services that have a big impact.
Your gift will provide a home-away-from-home for people in a variety of tough situations. Some of these people:
- Are alone and do not have a caregiver
- Have caregivers who are frail themselves or overwhelmed
- Have specialized needs and care requirements
- Need additional support with difficult-to-manage pain and other symptoms
