2016 Annual Report Highlights Organizational Milestones

(ST. JOSEPH) – Lakeland Health recently published their 2016 corporate annual report highlighting accomplishments from the past year, including: a by-the-numbers look at our people, facilities, and patients and stories of how caregivers have made a difference in patients’ lives. A look a use of funds reveals that in fiscal year 2015 (latest available data), Lakeland Health provided a total of $24.1 million in community benefits, including many that went beyond traditional patient care, to improve the quality of life in southwest Michigan.
The report also highlights Lakeland’s efforts to improve care by embarking on the largest building project in the organization’s history, engaging 1,300 area residents in a community health needs assessment, and collaborating with six other health systems throughout the state of Michigan as part of the clinically integrated network, Affirmant Health Partners.
