(COLOMA) – Lakeland Health recently welcomed Carly Gietler, PA, to its medical staff. Carly is seeing patients at Community Bone and Joint in Coloma, located at Paw Paw Lake Medical Center at 6559 Paw Paw Avenue.

Carly joins a team of providers who specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions of the bones, joints, and muscles. In addition to Carly, the practice includes orthopedic surgeon Jeffrey Postma, DO; two foot and ankle specialists, James Maskill, DPM, and Michael Maskill, DPM; and Jonathan NyKamp, NP

Carly earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants. Most recently, Carly cared for patients at the Hand, Wrist and Elbow Surgery for Midwest Orthopedics at Rush in Chicago. She has experience assisting with orthopedic surgeries and performing minor office procedures independently.

“I find it incredibly important that patients truly understand their medical problem and treatment options, so they can be involved in their own plan of care,” Carly said.

A St. Joseph native, Carly recently returned to southwest Michigan with her fiancé, and is looking forward to being part of the community and meeting new patients.
