Typical Day in Rehab Care
Below is a schedule for a typical day at our facility. It is an approximate schedule to give you an idea of what to expect when you arrive. Please keep in mind that your therapy schedule may change throughout your stay. Each patient participates in a minimum of three hours of therapy per day, Monday through Friday. Saturday therapy is sometimes required as well. Please note, rest time will be allowed throughout the day.
8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
Breakfast served in the patient’s room.
9:00 a.m. to Noon
Activities of daily living such as dressing and grooming taught by the occupational therapist and nursing staff. Therapy may include a combination of physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Sessions scheduled in 30-90 minute increments based on patient’s needs.
12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Lunch served in the dining room.
1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Therapy may include a combination of physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Sessions scheduled in 30-90 minute increments based on patient’s needs.
5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Dinner served in the patient’s room.
