A Fun and Active Group Environment
Lakeland Health Sensory Camp provides an opportunity for children who have a diagnosis of autism, sensory processing disorder, or traumatic brain injuries to practice physical, cognitive, and social skills in a fun and active group environment. Camp is open to children ages three to 12. Kids who are a part of the program attend weekly one-hour sessions presented in a consistent routine to include:
- Sensory motor exercises
- Balance and coordination
- Obstacle course activity
- Socialization opportunity
- Gross motor tasks
- Structured stations with emphasis on transitions
Winter Dates: Wednesdays, January 16 to March 6
Time: 9:00 to 10:15 a.m.
Where: Power in Motion Gymnastics & Fitness 3889 S. M-139, St. Joseph
Cost: $120 per camper, due by the first day of camp. Sibling discounts are available. Please make checks payable to Lakeland Health.
