In addition to several hundred dollars in donations, more than 15 large boxes of household and food items were raised by Lakeland Hospital Watervliet and donated to a local food pantry.

Lakeland Hospital Watervliet Holds Food Drive for Local Pantry

Lakeland Hospital Watervliet recently collected funds and donations for a local food pantry through their annual winter project. Between the Lakeland Hospital Watervliet’s Auxiliary and hospital team members, $350 and more than 15 large boxes of household and food items were donated.
The donations will benefit the Watervliet Methodist Church Living Water Food Pantry, which mainly serves senior citizens. An average of 80 to 100 people are assisted by the pantry each week.
