The Community Medical Center Walk-in Clinic located inside Lakeland Hospital Watervliet is expanding its hours. Effective Monday, November 5, the clinic will be open 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week, Monday through Sunday.

Walk-in care should be used for illnesses that cannot wait until the next business day but not for emergencies.

The clinic is recommended for the following issues:

• Asthma, allergies
• Back pain, joint pain, body aches
• Cold sores
• Colds, coughs, sinus infections, flu
• Ear, eye, skin, and respiratory infections
• Fevers
• Headaches, migraines, dizziness
• Insect bites, rashes
• Minor burns, cuts, bruises, sprains, strains, and falls
• Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, upset stomach, heartburn
• Pink eye and minor eye injuries
• Sore throats
• Urinary tract infections
• And other illnesses
