The Marie Yeager Cancer Center is located at the Lakeland Health Park, along Hollywood Road in St. Joseph. This new center will make it possible for patients and their families to go to just one facility for most of their cancer care needs, close to home.

The staff of the Lakeland Cancer Care Center strives to care for the whole person, from accurate diagnoses and advanced treatments to counseling and community programs, in a comfortable and convenient setting. The Lakeland Cancer Care Center offers both inpatient and outpatient care.
Since 1987, the Lakeland Cancer Care Center has been accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. Only one in four hospitals that treat cancer receives this approval, which recognizes quality in comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care. The approval also ensures quality care close to home, access to cancer related information and support and the ability to participate in clinical trials of new cancer therapies.
The Cancer Care Center undergoes a rigorous on-site evaluation and review every three years. In 2010 The American College of Surgeons granted our Cancer Program the three year accreditation . The Lakeland HealthCare cancer program was in total compliance with all 32 Standards. In addition, commendations were achieved and recognized in eight standard.
