Graduate Medical Education (GME)

Lakeland Health is a not-for-profit community health system nationally recognized for delivering an exceptional patient experience, providing superior health and medical services, meeting patients’ needs in the state and the region, and conducting programs of research in human health and disease.
Through our graduate medical education program we aim to provide quality, structured postgraduate residency opportunities that foster professional and personal development, while assuring high quality patient care. We offer residency training programs in Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. Lakeland Health is also a base hospital for Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine
