Amy Underwood, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist at Spectrum Health Lakeland Rehabilitation in Coloma. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 2005 and set off across the Atlantic ocean to work in the United States. After several cross-country moves, she finally settled down in Southwest Michigan with her husband and young daughter. She is trained in pediatric pelvic health and incontinence and is excited to bring this much needed specialty to the community.
“Incontinence is a huge source of stress and anxiety for children and adults, and it can be hard to know where to look for help. Treating incontinence has been shown to greatly improve self-esteem and confidence. I am passionate about supporting individuals through the lifespan so they can get the help they need to regain their independence."
