Area Physicians Donate $150,000 to Lakeland Medical Center Pavilion

(ST. JOSEPH) – Emergency Physicians Medical Group (EPMG) recently donated $100,000 in support of the Lakeland Medical Center Pavilion which will fund the new Emergency Department waiting room. Radiology Associates of Berrien County donated an additional $50,000 in support of the new imaging waiting room for patients.

"The providers at EPMG proudly support the new Pavilion and we firmly believe that this project will help improve the care of our families and community for years to come," said Robert Nolan, DO, Medical Director Trauma, Watervliet and Niles.

“Healthcare should be fundamentally about helping others in their time of deep need,” said Thomas DeWind, MD. “Radiology Associates of Berrien County is proud to support the Lakeland Medical Center Pavilion because we felt this infrastructure would significantly help sustain that mission for many years in the future – a future for our families and our community.”

To date, community members have donated nearly $4.5 million in support of the Pavilion which is slated for completion in 2020.
