Spectrum Health Lakeland Named “Most Wired”
Dec 3, 2018 Share

For the fourth consecutive year, Spectrum Health Lakeland has been recognized among “HealthCare’s Most Wired” hospitals and health systems in an annual survey by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). The recognition honors organizations that have established best practices and promote the strategic use of healthcare information technology to elevate care in their communities.

More than 675 organizations participated in the 2018 survey. Two key areas emerged in the report: the use of foundational technologies to support integration, interoperability, security, and disaster recovery; and the use of transformational technologies to support population health management, value-based care, patient engagement, and telehealth.

“Congratulations to our team at Spectrum Health Lakeland for achieving this recognition,” said Jason Joseph, SVP and Chief Information Officer, Spectrum Health. “This is a great acknowledgement of the team’s continued excellence and innovative approach to leveraging technology to enable high levels of quality care.”
