Another option for care
Our highly-skilled physician assistants and nurse practitioners help us raise the standard of care. Both may be a suitable option as a primary care provider. Many patients choose to be seen by a physician assistant or nurse practitioner for routine visits, chronic condition care, or even if their provider is not available.
Physician assistants, or PAs, are a type of mid-level provider who can diagnose illnesses, develop and manage treatment plans, prescribe medications, and may serve as a patient’s principal healthcare provider.
Nurse practitioners, or NPs, are advanced-practice nurses who can prescribe medications, unlike registered nurses. They diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness and may focus on health promotion and disease prevention.
