Jun 27, 2018
(SOUTH HAVEN) – Community members are invited to attend “Embracing Hospice at Home,” wine and beer tasting benefit for Caring Circle, scheduled for Saturday, August 4, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event will take place on the property of Dan and Mary Nulty, along the South Beach bluff in South Haven, located at 456 Monroe Boulevard. The Nultys have graciously hosted the event at their home for the past nine years contributing to the overall donations of more than $400,000 in support of hospice and bereavement care.
Live music will be provided by well-known musician, John Rush, also known as the “Human iPod.” While enjoying John’s music, guests can enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres from Phoenix Street Catering and tastings from 19 local wineries and breweries.
“Support from local businesses has been tremendous year after year allowing us to continue to provide new and interesting elements for guests while at the same time raising funds for such a meaningful cause in our community,” said Melinda Gruber, PhD, CEO of Caring Circle and Vice President of Continued Care Services, Lakeland Health.
All proceeds from this event will benefit hospice care, bereavement care, and Life is Precious services for the community of South Haven and surrounding areas. Tickets are $50 per person in advance, or $60 the day of the event. A VIP experience for $100 per ticket includes a champagne social prior to the event and an exclusive after party. Tickets can be purchased in person at Caring Circle offices, South Haven Visitors Bureau, Wolverine Hardware, or online at www.caring-circle.org/EmbracingHAH.
