This is the 14th annual Lory's Place Run, Walk and Rock to benefit Lory's Place, a Grief Healing and Education Center of Caring Circle, a Lakeland Health Affiliate. Every year, Lory’s Place is honored and grateful for the community’s support of Run Walk Rock. All of the programs and services at Lory’s Place are available at no charge. That means that no child or adult is ever turned away because of an inability to pay. The children, adults, and families who are part of Lory’s Place join us in expressing deepest gratitude to you for supporting our mission of grief healing.
The course will take runners and walkers through the Edgewater Development. Come and race beside sailboats in the marina, along the river, past Lake Michigan and its sandy beaches, down the historical brick streets of Ridgeway, and into parts of St. Joseph’s newest developments. All race events will begin and end at Lory’s Place in St. Joseph.

Champions for Children Challenge:
Students, teachers, staff, and administrators are invited to represent their school in either the 5K walk or run! The school that has the most participants will receive the “Champions for Children” traveling trophy and a $500.00 check from Honor Credit Union. You must indicate the school and/or grade you’re representing on the registration form to count towards this participation award. Please note the school on your registration in the area where it says "School Attending" if it is not on the list please include in the next question and it will be counted towards the school you listed.
8 and under, 9-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, and 85+

To be guaranteed a t-shirt participants must register before April 30. If you registered for the 5K Run or 5K Walk from May 1 to May 19 you are not guaranteed a event t-shirt as noted on the registration form.
Packet Pick Up Information:
Participants who pre-registered can pick up their race packets on Friday, May 18, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Lory’s Place, 445 Upton Drive, St. Joseph, MI.

Rocking Chair Sponsorship:
Requested donation of $150 per rocking chair may reflect gifts of an individual or a group. Rocker sponsors are invited to design their own dedication signs to hang on the rockers during the race. Rocker sponsorships are due on or before May 11.
